Being Found
The title of this blog may mean more than it seems. I have been thinking about why I am writing this blog and who I am writing it for. I wondered about the contents of my posts and the format they are written in. I wonder how I can possibly reach as many people as possible and what kind of value could I possibly provide for them.
One of the most important steps I believe is necessary to inspire others is actually “being found”. This means when I publish a post, it can be found by people searching for insights for personal and spiritual development. My first step was to sign up on the blog directory Technorati. I had first heard about Technorati in a book by David meerman Scott called “The New Rules of marketing & PR”. I am currently taking a lot of time and effort to learn about the internet and how to market on the internet because I believe it is important to livig out my life purpose. While I am far from being a techie (which according to Steve Pavlina’s Blog “How to Make Money From Your Blog” was one of the most important attributes of having a successful blog), I have been blessed with a wonderful, self aware husband who is a techie. All I have to do is keep learning and tell my dear husband Dobes “I want to have ______ on my blog” and whatever I want would magically appear on my blog. I am so grateful that the universe sent him my way about 18 months ago. My life has been quite blissful eversince :). More on the details later… :P
